I Am Legend
The opinions are in and I Am Legend is getting good write-ups.
It's a film made by Will Smith though. Luckily Will Smith is amazing so that's not really a problem.
Meanwhile Movie Steak are reporting that Warner Bros have already purchased rights for the sequel.

The archives have been saying "coming soon" for quite a while now but they have finally been replaced by actual browsable archives categories by month. Enjoy!
Rob Zombie's Halloween arrives
Friday saw Rob Zombie's remake of Halloween arrive. I haven't seen the first impressions or box offices figures yet but it will be interesting to see what kind of write-up it gets.
Silent Hill 5
Details of the next installment of the Silent Hill saga are finally starting to emerge.
It's aim to be more interactive from what I call tell - it's using the Havoc physics engine and mobs will respond to things like you making loads of noise by knocking loads of stuff over.
It will also feature a whole new plot and should be out early next year.
Jurassic Park DVD sale
Tesco are currently selling Jurassic Park on DVD for £3! It's one of their while stocks last bargains so I had no choice but to pick up a copy really.
Cherry Falls
Cherry Falls aired on BBC2 the other day and I got two responses.
The first friend I spoke to about it explained she had been kept up all night because it was really scary.
The second friend I spoke to about it explained it was one of the funniest films he had ever seen.
That amused me :p.
The Craft DVD
The most interesting thing about this DVD is that it is the "collectors edition" and yet I've never actually need a non-collectors edition of it.
Still, it's a kickass movie and one which I was glad to re-watch. It tells the story of Sarah who gets involved in a covern at her new school and things get a bit crazy, especially when she wants out.
The DVD is also sporting director's commentary (though I cannot yet comment on how interesting it is) and a few d eleted scenes and of course, a making of documentary.
Charmed magazine launches
A new magazine about Charmed has just launched in the UK. It's one of those get a DVD with every issue and a predictably high price tag too.
So while I'm not suggesting everyone regularly shells out £8 for it, it might be worth getting the much reduced "let us sucker you in" issue at £3 just for the DVD.
Silent Hill is scary
I renew my belief that Silent Hill is a damn scary movie. It really is.
Night of the Living Dead
Sometimes you experience something so amazing it changes your world forever. While finding the original Night of the Living Dead on DVD for £0.97 in MusicZone wasn't quite that good, it wasn't far off.
The film is a classic zombie flick and still pretty awesome. There is plenty of zombie action even for today, let alone "back in the day" when it was actually made.
